Émilie Pelletier, now the proud owner of HQ Tourism Services, is a 25-year-old entrepreneur and certified tour guide. Émilie is on her way to revolutionize tourism in Quebec by providing the service she would like to receive herself when travelling. She emphasizes friendship, professionalism, transparency, generosity, and passion when dealing with her customers. Émilie takes care of every little detail that can make all the difference in delivering a memorable experience. Also, she cares for her amazing team of tour guides and her guides care for her.

It all started 10 years ago

After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism management, Hongying Tang, a chinese immigrant, discovered a deep connection to Quebec City. Eager to apply what she had learned, she  founded HQST, an in-bond travel agency, to introduce Sino-speaking travelers to Eastern Canada. However, life took an unexpected turn, and her agency began specializing in Quebec City-based tours, leveraging her strong relationships with Old Quebec restaurant owners due to the trilingual maps she was making for them at the time. This gave rise to gourmet tours, appealing to those seeking exquisite experiences, in 2016. Now a mother of two amazing boys, she realized the importance of spending more time at home, which led her to pass on her company to Emilie Pelletier in 2022. Hongying now owns a well-being center called Æsthesia Energy Healing.  We are forever grateful to Hongying amazing contribution to the tourism industry.
