Carnival Gourmet Food and Historical Tour

We will pass-by some of the main attractions of Old Quebec on the gourmet tour. Below you'll find a list of example of restaurants we might stop at. Note that restaurants included on the tour might vary.

Culinary Adventure

Our guide will be waiting for you at our office located on 112 Saint-Paul Street OR at the departure point of your choice like your hotel in Old Quebec to start your fabulous experience!

Va Bene

New in the Petit-Champlain’s district, this intimate Italian restaurant offers products directly imported from Italy. You could discover for example the Panzanella, a fresh italian typical salad with ingredients such as : fresh tomatoes, red onion, capers, basil, mache, Gaeta olives, focaccia croutons, balsamic vinegar of Modena, mozzarella di Bufala foam.

Located in a century-old stone house, Archibald is a beloved spot for craft beer lovers in Quebec. Over there, we could enjoy a refreshing light beer with notes of citrus followed by a comforting french onion soup.

Le Continental

Total enjoyment in the classical gourmet world of Le Continental, we will experience preferred services and table-side flambéed shrimp that pay tribute to the delicious French cuisine.

Maison Livernois

Within La Maison Livernois' enchanting 1800s decor, culinary artistry meets a menu of diverse delights. Indulge in over 250 local and imported gins.

The Augustine's Vivoir

Well-being in your plate: that's the mission of Le Vivoir. Located in the Augustine's Monastery, the Vivoir focuses on local and organic food. The menu highlights arrivals and local seasonal products. Depending on the season, the tour might end at this stop.

Stop by and play the Carnival

The Quebec City Winter Carnival celebrates the joys of winter with a wide range of activities, including ice sculptures, snow slides, ice skating, and parades. Visitors can immerse themselves in Quebec's rich culture, enjoy traditional cuisine, and even partake in the famous Caribou drink, which we will do on the tour!

End of tour

Come hungry, you will be fulfilled both intellectually and appetite wise! Note that despite all the indoor stops and that walking is at it's minimum on this tour, we still need to walk to these places so make sure you are well dressed. A winter coat, winter boots, a hat, gloves and scarf are a must!

“I rarely write reviews. This time making an exception, because our experience was just amazing. We booked a gourmet tour and Estelle was our guide. She not only showed us these wonderful restaurants, but explained as many interesting historical facts about Canada as possible between the 5 courses. The chefs managed to fill our stomach with the Quebecs best food, but it was our guide Estelle who definitely made us hungry for more history and hopefully next visit. Thanks again for the great time!”
