It all started 10 years ago

After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, Hongying Tang, a Chinese immigrant, found a deep connection to Quebec City. She founded HQST, an in-bond travel agency, to introduce Sino-speaking travelers to Eastern Canada. However, her agency soon specialized in Quebec City-based tours, thanks to her strong ties with Old Quebec restaurant owners through the trilingual maps she created. This led to the launch of gourmet tours in 2016, catering to those seeking exquisite experiences. Now a mother of two, Hongying chose to spend more time at home and passed the company to Emilie Pelletier in 2022. She now owns Æsthesia Energy Healing, a well-being center. We are forever grateful for Hongying’s remarkable contributions to the tourism industry.
