Growing a lavender field in Charlevoix with the strong winds of the valley and the harsh winters is quite the challenge. Meet Louise who will tell you all about it and how lavender may be used in so many ways. Taste their goods and have a dessert with lemonade.

If time permits, stop and take a walk with your guide to learn about Baie St-Paul, its artists and stories. Feel free to come back after your tour and stroll on rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste.

Quai de Baie-Saint-Paul

Stop to enjoy the fresh breeze of the Saint-Lawrence River, learn about the region’s geography, how a meteorite shaped it and the first settlers’ challenges. Take in the views.

Moulin Seigneurial des Éboulements (Mill) Guided Visit

Everything is impressive : the structure of the building, its story and the mechanisms to transform grain into flour.

Private Ambrosia Farm Visit and local produce board

Get to know Aleck & Alexis and their duck farm, where everything is thoroughly thought for animals’ welfare. Have a guided tour and a platter of farm products to share, such as: rillette, terrine, liver pâté, smoked duck, local cheeses, and jelly, served with crackers and fruit.

For the best experience, make sure you dress with weather-appropriate clothing (layers are recommended since Quebec City’s weather changes constantly) and wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunglasses.

In Quebec City, gratuity is a standard practice. Depending on your appreciation and the type of service, it is an amount of 10% to 20% that is recommended. It is however not mandatory, but very appreciated.

If you wish to leave a gratuity to your tour guide, plan bringing cash or have the guide give you his or her online gratuity link to safely give it by credit card.
