Schedule

  • Group departure | Departure between 9:30 AM and 10 AM depending on the hotel pickup / meeting point

    We may contact you to reschedule the date if there are only two registered participants

Rates

  • Adult or child |$400 CAD + taxes

  • Free if the child does not need their own plate (can share with their parent) and sits on lap

  • Private option| Base rate (up to 2 guests) : 1600$ + $400 CAD / extra guest person + taxes

    Spanish – Additional fee on top of the base rate | $200 + taxes

Inclusions and exclusions

  • Includes | An excellent tour guide, round-trip transportation to and from your hotel or our office in Old Quebec, driver (driver-guide at times), admission to Montmorency Falls and the cable car, 4 agritourism stops with generous tastings (at least 1 winery, 1 cidery and 1 farm) that amount to a meal and a tip for the driver.

With most of the scenery devoted to agriculture and its location just 20 minutes from Old Quebec, île d’Orléans is a must-see. This VIP experience lets you discover the flavours of the region, accompanied by a professional driver and an experienced certified tour guide. This tour will immerse you in the heritage, culture and history of the Island. On the menu : a complete lunch with 4 gourmet stops, depending on the season, and exclusive meetings with local enthusiasts and experts. What’s more ? As we pass by, we’ll be stopping to visit Quebec’s highest waterfall, the famous Montmorency Falls, with its 83-metre drop.

Meeting point

Your guide will be waiting for you at our office located at 112 Saint-Paul Street to begin your fabulous experience, or will pick you up at your hotel by prior arrangement.

At the farm

Mostly farmland, you’ll discover Île d’Orléans through one farm stops.

At the transformation

The processing of cultivated products is essential to preserve them longer and to promote them. During this stop, you’ll taste some of the Island’s original products and learn how they are processed.

At the Cidrerie

A true testament to history, the island’s cider, made from apples, has become an indispensable part of Quebec agritourism. You’ll have the chance to taste it right at the source of its transformation.

At the vineyard

The grapes on the Island of Orleans must be very unique to be able to grow and thrive in our extreme weather conditions, from really warm to freezing temperatures. Taste and learn all about it at a local winery.

Montmorency Falls

This 83-metre-high waterfall is the largest in Quebec. Its sheer size and historical significance make it an ideal place to end/begin your visit.

What to know before your tour

We will do our best to accommodate your dietary restrictions, although this experience is best suited for guests without significant dietary restrictions.

Any sensitivities or preferences must be disclosed no later than 24 hours before the tour. No alternatives are provided once the tour has started.

IMPORTANT : Note that our partners can not guarantee without trace and it is your responsibility to bring your medication in case of an allergic reaction. 

By arriving early, you can use our restroom, enjoy the cold water dispenser at the office and put on sunscreen offered for free.

During winter times, we can also lend you our comfortable winter accessories to stay warm or you can rent them.

For the best experience, make sure you dress with weather-appropriate clothing (layers are recommended since Quebec City’s weather changes constantly) and wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunglasses.

In Quebec City, gratuity is a standard practice. Depending on your appreciation and the type of service, it is an amount of 10% to 20% that is recommended. It is however not mandatory, but very appreciated.

If you wish to leave a gratuity to your tour guide, plan bringing cash or have the guide give you his or her online gratuity link to safely give it by credit card. You should receive an automated email including the link after the tour however please feel free to send a message at [email protected] requesting it.
